OH I FORGOT that i love my ability to connect with stories which is why tv shows and books and movies and video games affect me so much
like it’s kind of bad sometimes because i end up actually genuinely upset over characters most of the time but it 1) provides a kind of escapism, ie. it allows me to cry over a fictional person’s problems instead of my own and 2) it increases my capacity to empathize
also it’s the reason i’m studying english and why i want to be a professor and it also takes up 90% of my life
Some reference sheets on how I imagine the 3 elven kindreds
These aren’t all the options on how the elves of each clan could look like especially since a lot of the main characters in the Silmarillion are mixed and not just strictly Noldo or Teler etc. but I just don’t have time to draw all the descendants of Ingwë, Finwë, and Thingol.
day seven — favorite origin (1/3)
Tamlen and Mahariel.
My customer requested scenario where Tamlen is stricken with the Blight, but his bond with Mahariel stays untainted. They’re so different now, but their love unites them no matter what.
I liked this idea very much, so i hope you will love it, as well ))))
leliana’s song is already one of the most beautiful, poignant moments in the game, but when you have a dalish warden IT IS SO MUCH MORE MEANINGFUL. because it’s a dalish/elven song and it must remind the warden so much of home. like you know when you’re in a foreign country and you hear your own accent/language and it’s just so comforting? like that except even more so because the last time they heard it was at tamlen’s funeral, and probably at their parents’ funerals.
i just DALISH WARDENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
